Types of Computer Memory There are two Types of Computer memory. Primary Memory Secondary Memory Types of Computer memory Primary Memory Primary Memory also known as Main Storage or Memory . It is the area in a computer in which data is stored for " quick access ". It allows a processor to access running execution applications and services that are temporarily stored in a specific memory location. It is short range memory.
